Key Features of Bot9 Analytics:

  1. Breakdown by Visitors: View the total number of visitors and support requests over the chatbot's lifetime.
  2. Breakdown by Visitor Interaction: Analyze the types of interactions your visitors have with your chatbot, including generating new support requests or replying to bot messages.
  3. Breakdown by Visitor Type: Understand the distribution of visitors, leads, and customers interacting with your chatbot.
  4. Breakdown by Visitor Location: Identify the geographical distribution of your visitors and optimize your chatbot for specific regions.

How to Use Bot9 Analytics:

  1. Access Analytics: Log in to your Bot9.ai account and navigate to the "Analytics" tab.
  2. Analyze Key Metrics: Review the breakdowns by visitors, visitor interactions, visitor type, and visitor location.
  3. Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Use the insights gained from the analytics to refine your chatbot's performance, such as optimizing responses, improving response times, or targeting specific visitor types or locations.

New Feature Announcement: Automated Follow-Ups

Dear Bot9 Community,

We're thrilled to introduce our latest feature: Automated Follow-Ups.

This feature automatically sends follow-up messages if a user does not respond within a specified timeframe (default set to 2 hours). Designed to facilitate personalized, goal-oriented communication, this enhancement aims to boost your sales without requiring any setup.

The best part is, no configuration is needed from your end. Your bot will automatically have this feature enabled and this enhancement is now available for channels.

To identify the type of message (normal, agent, bot, or follow-up), simply refer to the following design guidelines provided in our documentation.

We believe this feature will significantly improve your customer engagement and support efficiency.

Important Announcement: Discontinuation of Adding Your Own OpenAI Key Feature

Dear Bot9 Community,

We have decided to discontinue the feature that allowed users to add their own OpenAI key to their Bot9 accounts. This change is necessary because we now utilize multiple language models, and managing API keys internally ensures a seamless experience for everyone.

By integrating various language models, we aim to provide a more robust and versatile service. This step is essential for maintaining consistency and optimal performance across the platform, benefiting all users regardless of their subscription plan.

If you have previously added your own OpenAI key, rest assured that it will no longer be needed.

Each plan includes a specific number of free Support Requests per month. Once these are exhausted, additional Support Requests can be purchased, with costs varying by plan. We believe this approach will help us provide timely and effective support. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

We recently encountered an issue where our Google Ads account was flagged due to a violation of the Malicious and Unwanted Software policy. This was traced back to the JavaScript code provided by Bot9, specifically associated with the link "apiv1.bot9.ai". We have taken swift action to address this problem to ensure the integrity and safety of our services.

Our team has worked diligently to develop a completely revamped Website Widget functionality. This update eradicates the identified security concerns and enhances the overall performance of our website tools.

To benefit from these improvements, we kindly ask you to replace the old JavaScript code on your website with the new one we've provided.

The feature can be activated in two ways:

  1. Manually, via the 'Request feedback' button in the conversation's sidebar.
  2. Automatically, by configuring a trigger within the instruction set.

This feature is specifically tailored for use within the Bot9 Chat Widget and is not available for other channels like Facebook Chat.

Remember, this is for internal reference only, which means your customer's won't see the sources in the answer – they'll continue to receive crisp, direct answers, just like always!
